About Codenation

Codenation is an index of the developer and SaaS tools builders ship with: 90 tools in 8 categories, collections that set side by side the tools doing the same job, and guides on launching a product.

The codenation.dev domain once belonged to an unrelated developer-training company. This index has no link with it: the domain was taken over and rebuilt as an index of tools.

Listing is free, and a person reads every submission before it is listed. Links out of the index carry rel="nofollow". One block per page can be sponsored: it is labelled Sponsored, its link carries rel="sponsored nofollow" and it never changes the order or the counts.

How the index is made

The publisher picks tools that builders use and that have a public site. Each listing has a one-line summary and a short description of what the tool's own site says it does.

26 tools also have a checked presentation: what the tool does, who it suits, and its price as read on its own pricing page on the date shown, with a link to that page. Only those tool pages are offered to search engines; the others stay online for visitors. Collections group tools that do the same job and are not rankings. Guides link every figure to the page it comes from and show the day the facts were checked.

Prices and products change. If a page is wrong or out of date, write to the address below and the page is corrected.
